Scenic coastal and rainforest day tour...
Our tour heads south through Sydney’s Royal National Park, where we enjoy morning tea beside the Hacking River. Next to Stanwell Tops and historic Hargraves lookout from where we can enjoy stunning coastal scenery and follow the coast south through Woollongong to the beautiful seaside town of Kiama.
After inspecting the famous ‘Blowhole’, we strike west into the beautiful hinterland of Jamberoo, where high rainfall and volcanic soils produce luxuriant vegetation. Here, we visit Budderoo National Park, where hidden deep in a river gorge, we find the unique Minnamurra Rainforest. We take the opportunity to explore the sub-tropical rainforest from one of the best elevated boardwalks in Australia, over 1.6 km long!
After lunch we go mountain climbing, taking a secluded four wheel drive trail, passing through the beautiful and historic Southern Highlands towns Bowral, Mittagong and Berrima.
